About ME

I have written professionally for trade magazine publishers, for a federal government agency, and as a consultant for a variety of publications, businesses and non-profits.

A career in business-to-business magazines has made me an expert at transforming academic or technical material into clear, compelling copy. I have written about industrial safety, real estate, cars, education, marketing, health, music, nutrition, relationships, the outdoors, and more. 

When I'm not writing for clients I moonlight as an aspiring novelist and pianist, hiker, rollerblader, cyclist, mosaic artist, and volunteer with a local environmental group.
